The vast majority of Scripture is comprised of stories. In our imitation of God, we should learn to tell stories. Jokes are a good place to start.

There is a volunteer chaplain up at the prison who uses stories to convey messages. He had a story about a mile-high tidal wave which is going to overcome the prison and drown all the inmates. He said it would occur within six months, but that was about a year ago. I think he would be better off telling jokes.
